Description
Culls Cottage is a detached house located in Southrop Village, dating from the mid to late 17th century, with a 20th-century addition. The building is constructed of random rubble limestone, featuring rubble chimneys and a stone slate roof. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and has a central wing on the south side.
On the north side, the windows are scattered and include recessed chamfered mullioned casements with two and three lights, as well as a two-light window positioned higher up. There is an eaves-mounted gabled dormer at the right end, and to the left, two blocked openings with a timber lintel remain in place. The east end has a single-storey lean-to. The house has two chimneys mounted on the ridge.
The south side features a central 20th-century gabled wing, with a two-light leaded casement window on the ground floor to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
