Description
Bee Furlong Barn and shelter sheds are a Grade II listed structure dating from the late 18th century. The barn is constructed from random rubble limestone and features stone slate roofs, with the west shelter shed covered in corrugated asbestos. The barn has four bays and includes a south porch and a hipped lean-to at the east end. There are two attached shelter sheds: one projects forward to the west, while the other runs to the east. The barn's doorway on the south side is sheltered by a lean-to porch and features a plank door with a timber lintel. There are square vents in the barn and owl holes at the apex of the gable ends. The east shelter shed has five bays and a pitched roof, while the roof of the west shelter shed was altered to a lean-to style in the 20th century, both supported by circular rubble piers. The interior has not been inspected.
