Description
This house, occupied by Miss Sturdy, is located between Fairview and The Cottage in Longborough Village. It dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century and is part of a row of houses. The building is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof and featuring a brick stack. It has two stories and a two-windowed facade, which is illuminated by two and three-light double-chamfered stone mullioned casements with glazing bars. The ground floor windows have stopped hoods above them. There is a central 20th-century plank door with a segmental head and an 'X' tie plate above it, along with a similar blocked doorway to the left. The house has a gable-end stack. The interior has not been inspected.
