Description

Miranda Cottage, formerly known as Chapel Place, is a detached house located in Longborough Village. It dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone with a stone slate roof and brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall. Its three-windowed facade features two and three-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements, some of which have stopped hoods, and most are fitted with leaded panes. Gable-end stacks are present, and access to the house is via the garden front. The interior has not been inspected.
