Description

The Gables is a semi-detached house located in Longborough, dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof and featuring brick stacks. The building has an 'L' shaped plan and stands one and a half storeys tall. It includes a Cotswold dormer that is lit by a two-light metal casement with horizontal glazing bars. The ground floor has one two-light and one three-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement. To the right, there is a 19th-century plank door with a thumb latch. The house has a stack at the left gable end and another at the rear gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
