Description
No. 33 Mill Street is a house with a shop, built in the mid-19th century. It features a solid rendered front and a slate roof, with a red-brick chimney on the left gable wall. The building has three storeys and a two-window range. The shop front, dating from the mid to late 19th century, includes an enriched entablature flanked by elaborately carved consoles. To the left is a canted display window with a half-glazed shop door, and to the right is a four-panelled house door with a knocker. The upper-storey windows are sashes with margin panes. A prominent eaves cornice with paired brackets adds to the architectural detail. The interior has not been inspected.
