Description
Nos. 34 and 35 on Mill Street is a house that has been subdivided and now includes shops. It dates from the early 19th century, with shop fronts likely added in the late 19th century. The building has a solid rendered front and a slate roof, standing two storeys high with a three-window range. The ground floor features a central house door flanked by shops, all topped with a single entablature that has a moulded cornice. The house door is four-panelled and includes a fanlight with patterned glazing. The shop doors are three-quarters glazed with a moulded bottom panel. Number 35 retains its original display window, which is canted at the right-hand side. The upper-storey windows have six-paned sashes set in box frames. The interior has not been inspected.
