Description
No. 24 Pilton Street is a house with a shop that has a mid-19th century appearance, likely a remodelling of an 18th-century building. It features a solid rendered front and a slated roof. There is a red brick chimney on the right side wall, with the top of another chimney visible behind the ridge to the left. The building has two storeys and a three-window range. The shop front on the right has been altered in the 19th century, although the entablature remains, now obscured by a 20th-century fascia. The window to the left and all three upper-storey windows have sashes with margin-panes and horns. The building also boasts a large, boxed moulded eaves cornice typical of the early 18th century. The interior has not been inspected.
