Description
Bryan House is an early 19th-century house located on Pilton Street in Barnstaple. The front is solidly rendered, and it has a slated roof with a red brick chimney on each side wall, the one on the right being partly rendered. The house is two storeys high and features a three-window range. The ground storey has horizontal channelling and imitation voussoirs. The central doorway is deeply recessed and has a six-panelled door, with the four lower panels decorated with pointed arches that have trefoils in the spandrels, while the top two panels are glazed. The windows are six-paned sashes, and those on the ground storey have patterned iron window box holders. There is a deep boxed eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
