Description

Ford Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a chamfered plinth. The slate roof has gabled ends and overhanging eaves. The building is two storeys high and has four bays, each with sash windows that include glazing bars, set in chamfered ashlar openings. There is a similar opening for the doorway, which is located to the left of centre and features a glazed door. The farmhouse also has rendered ridge and end chimney stacks that have been heightened in brick. This building is included for its group value.
