Description

Wheelwright's Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located at right angles to the road on Vicarage Hill in Holbeton. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a slate roof with gabled ends. The cottage is two storeys high and has a range of four windows. The east end has a one-bay extension from the 20th century. The windows are two-light casements from the 19th or 20th century, complete with glazing bars. The central entrance has a glazed door topped with a slated hood. Large rendered chimney stacks are present at both gable ends. This building is included for its group value.
