Description

East St Marys Cottage, Erme Cottage, and West St Marys Cottage are a group of early 19th-century cottages, formerly two cottages and later incorporating shop premises. The buildings are constructed of stone rubble with brick segmental arches over the windows. They have slate roofs with gabled ends. The cottages are two storeys high, with three bays. They feature sash windows with glazing bars. A small, 20th-century shop window is located in the centre of the ground floor, flanked on either side by 20th-century glazed doors with hipped slate hoods. Red brick chimney stacks are visible at the gable ends. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
