Description

The Old School is a former school room built around 1840. It is constructed of stone rubble, with some areas plastered, and features an asbestos slate roof with gable ends. This small, single-storey building has a central doorway that is topped by a brick four-centred arch and leads to a ledged door. On either side of the doorway, there are three-light windows with four-centred arch lights and leaded panes. There is a blocked doorway on the left side. An octagonal stone rubble chimney stack with pyramid steps is located over the west gable end. The building is included for its group value.
