Description
Way Farm House is a farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed of stone rubble with freestone dressings and has a slate roof featuring gabled ends and wide eaves. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The windows are small sashes with glazing bars set in chamfered stone architraves with flat arches. The central doorway is round-arched and includes a semi-circular fanlight above a 20th-century glazed door. At the rear, there is a contemporary two-storey wing that follows an L-shaped plan. The farmhouse also features diagonal stone chimney stacks with moulded caps.
