Description

Ramsland Cottage is a detached cottage located on a bank above the road, dating from the late 17th century. The building is constructed of roughcast stone rubble and features a thatched roof with gabled ends and eyebrow eaves. It has two storeys and a two to three window range, with 20th-century casements that include glazing bars. There is a glazed door to the left of the center, and on the front wall to the right, there is a large stone chimney stack, with a smaller red brick stack at the opposite northwest gable end. Inside, the cottage has stopped chamfered ceiling beams and joists.
