Description

No. 69 in Ford is a detached cottage that was originally part of a larger house, dating from around the 17th century. The building is constructed from roughcast stone rubble and cob, topped with a thatched hipped roof that features eyebrow eaves. It has two storeys and a three-window range, with 20th-century casements that include glazing bars. To the right of the centre, there is a glazed door with a slated hood above it. The cottage has a rendered chimney stack at one gable end, as well as another external chimney stack on the rear wall. There is a 20th-century extension at the back, which has an asbestos slate roof.
