Description

No. 71 is a detached cottage located at right angles to the road, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone rubble and cob, topped with a thatched roof featuring gabled and half-hipped ends, along with eyebrow eaves. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows, which are modern two- and three-light casements with glazing bars. There is a doorway on the left side, and a chimney stack is situated at the east gable end. At the rear, there is a later addition that includes a half-hipped thatched roof wing.
