Description
No. 50 is a semi-detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with a coped verge and a stone stack on the right side. The cottage is two stories high and has three windows.
An early 19th-century gabled ashlar porch with a moulded pediment leads to a four-panelled inner door, with a three-light cyma-mullioned casement on either side. There is a continuous moulded string course at the first floor level, which has three 2-light mullioned casements. The cottage also includes two hipped attic dormers, each with 2-light casements. At the rear, there is a gabled wing that contains additional casements.
