Description

Rosedown is a late 17th-century semi-detached cottage located in Upper Wraxall. The building is constructed of painted rubble stone with a concrete interlocking tile roof and stone stacks. It has two storeys and three windows. The front elevation features a planked door situated to the left of the centre, flanked by two 2-light chamfered mullioned casement windows. Two further 2-light mullioned casements have been inserted into what were previously blocked doorways. An arched opening allows access to the rear garden on the right-hand side of the front facade. The first floor has three 2-light mullioned casements; one is chamfered, one is cyma-moulded, and one is hollow chamfered. The interior and rear of the building were not accessible when surveyed in June 1987.
