Description
Little Courts is a group of three cottages that have been combined into one house. They date from the late 17th century and 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The building is made of rubble stone and has a double Roman tiled roof with stone stacks, forming an L-plan. It is a single storey and attic structure with two windows.
On the front, there is a glazed door to the left and two 3-light ovolo-mullioned casements with hoodmoulds to the right, although one of these is a concrete replacement from the 20th century. The building features two full attic gables, each with 3-light ovolo-mullioned casements and coped verges. There is a 20th-century garage attached to the right side.
The right return of the building has two 20th-century doors, 2-light casements, and a 2-light ovolo-mullioned casement on the ground floor, along with four 2-light casements with gables on the first floor. The rear of the building has a blocked doorway, a 20th-century extension, and an attic dormer. The rear wing includes an ovolo-mullioned casement and a 20th-century inserted garage opening to the left, which now features a 20th-century mullioned casement.
Inside, the property has chamfered beams and an open fireplace with a cambered lintel set on stone jambs.
