Description

The Raynor railed enclosure, located in the churchyard about 20 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St James, is a Grade II listed structure. It features a railed enclosure that contains a chest tomb dedicated to Samuel Raynor, who died in 1805. The chest tomb is made of limestone and includes a large oval panel, chamfered fluted corners, fluted coving, a cornice, and a flat top. The enclosure is surrounded by spearhead cast-iron railings that are set on stone dwarf walls.
