Description
Stanton Woodhouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a slate roof featuring stone gable end stacks and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. The building is two storeys high and has three bays in an L-plan layout.
The central entrance features an ovolo moulded, four-centred arched doorcase with a glazed, panelled door and a divided overlight. On either side of the door, there are three 3-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows with dripmoulds, fitted with two pane casements or fixed lights. Above the door, there are three 2-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows with similar glazing. The rear wing has similar windows, some of which include leaded lights. This farmhouse is included for its group value only.
