Description
Ivy Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is built of coursed squared gritstone, featuring gritstone dressings and quoins. The roof is covered with concrete tiles and has stone gable end stacks. The house has two bays and stands two storeys high. The central doorcase is flush and contains a panelled door, with a 2-light flush mullion window on either side. Above the door, there are two similar windows. The windows are fixed three-pane designs with single-pane casements. To the east of the cottage, there is a 20th-century lean-to that includes a 20th-century door and window.
