Description

This is a milestone dating from the early 19th century, located south of Blue Post Farmhouse. It is made of white painted granite and has a square shape, set diagonally to the road. The back is roughly hewn, while the two dressed sides on the right have rounded tops. The front faces feature black painted lettering carved in lower case with serifs, indicating distances: "To Plymth 18 miles. To Totnes 4 miles."
