Description

The kitchen garden walls at Bradridge House date from the early 19th century, likely around 1830, and were probably built at the same time as the house's remodelling. Constructed from local slate rubble, the front wall facing the flower garden and drive is more finely dressed and features slate capping. The walls are rectangular in shape, with a gateway on the right (east) side leading to a rear courtyard and another gateway leading to the main garden. The front wall has pilaster strips and is lower in height, while the side walls rise to a higher rear wall. As of 1986, the walls are still in use as a kitchen garden.
