Description

This milestone, located about 135 metres south of Yarner, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and has a triangular shape with rounded tops on the two sides facing the road. The stone is inscribed with "2 Miles to Totnes" and "21 Miles to Plymouth" in upper and lower case lettering with serifs. The top of the stone shows slight damage.
