Description
Cherry Trees is a detached cottage, formerly known as Newhouse, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of slate rubble, with the southwest end wall facing the road being covered in slate. The roof is hipped and covered with slates. The cottage has two storeys and a three-window front. It features small, 19th-century two-light casement windows with glazing bars. The central doorway is plain and has a 20th-century glazed porch. A large stone rubble chimney stack is located at the northeast end, and another stack at the rear of the original house, now incorporated within a 20th-century rear addition.
