Description
74 and 75 Fore Street are a pair of terraced houses from the 18th century that have been altered. They are finished in stucco and topped with slate roofs. The buildings rise three storeys and each has two windows.
No. 74 features a central entrance with a segmental arch and a part-glazed 19th-century door, flanked by two shop windows with timber cases. The first floor has segmental arched casements with glazing bars, while the second floor has recessed sashes with margin glazing located under the eaves.
No. 75 also has a segmental arched entrance with a part-glazed door. It has segmental arched, flush framed, two-pane sashes on the ground and first floors, and a recessed 20th-century window under the eaves on the third floor.
The interiors have not been inspected. All the listed buildings on Fore Street are part of a group.
