Terraced houses, now united, but with different facades in the north-east angle of the square. c1807-28 with later alterations. Stucco, roof of slate to No.27. No.26 four storeys over basement, No.27 three storeys over basement with dormers. Pointed-arched entrance to No.27 with fluted pilasters and C19 decoration to fanlight. No.26 has a segmental bay on the ground, first and second floors terminating in a canted cornice, and a triple, flat-arched window above, cornice and panelled parapet. No.27 has segmental bay to ground, first and second floor, the upper offset a little; bracketed balcony with cast-iron railings with anthemion ornament, possibly replacement; cornice interrupted by bay; blocking course; dormer in mansard roof. INTERIOR: not inspected. No.27 was listed on 13/10/52.
