Description

Numbers 32 and 33 are terraced houses located in Bedford Square, Brighton, built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of stucco with slate roofs and rise three storeys over a basement, featuring dormers and a one-window range. The entrances are flat-arched and include overlights. Both houses have full-height segmental bays, with No. 32 having a canted bay above the ground floor. The bays are offset to the right on the upper floors. All windows are flat-arched and tripartite, with those on the ground floor flanked by fluted pilasters. There is a bracketed balcony on the first floor, and the first and second floors are flanked by pilasters that support an ornamental band on No. 32, while No. 33 has an interrupted blocking course. The mansard roof features dormers, and there are stacks at the party walls. The interior has not been inspected. The houses also have cast-iron railings leading to the steps and area, adorned with spearhead finials.
