Description
Numbers 10 to 13 are a group of terraced houses built around 1807 to 1828, with later alterations. They are constructed of stucco with slate roofs. The houses form a three-storey-over-basement, one-window range, including dormers in the roof. The ground floor of numbers 10 and 11 is decorated with banded rustication. Numbers 10 to 12 have a flat-arched entrance with an overlight, while number 13 has a pointed-arched entrance with decorative glazing to the fanlight; numbers 12 and 13 retain panelled doors of their original design. Full-height segmental bays are offset slightly on the upper floors, with the upper bays of numbers 10 and 11 being canted. The houses have triple windows, with the ground floor of numbers 11 and 12 flanked by fluted pilasters. A bracketed verandah runs along the first floor of numbers 10 to 12, and a balcony is present at number 13, both featuring cast-iron railings. Numbers 10 and 11 have pilasters between each house on the first and second floors, while number 13 has recessed rectangular panels. The building has a continuous cornice and blocking course, with stacks located in the party walls. The interior has not been inspected. Cast-iron railings are present to the steps and area.
