Description
Number 9 is a terraced house dating from approximately 1807 to 1828, with later additions. The house is constructed of stucco, and the roof is hidden behind a parapet. It is four storeys high, with a basement, and has a single-window frontage. The pointed-arched entrance has decorative glazing to the fanlight and arcaded panelling to the door. A full-height segmental bay is set slightly to the left on the upper floors, featuring triple, flat-arched windows. A verandah on the first floor is supported by cast-iron railings, likely designed by Amon Wilds. Pilasters flank the first and second floors, but only the cornice of the entablature remains. The third floor was added with a parapet, and stacks are visible on the party walls. The interior of the house has not been inspected. Cast-iron railings with spearhead finials are present on the steps and area.
