Description

The barn, located 40 metres east of Boode Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble, with the rear rendered and a gable-ended slate roof. At the rear, there is a horse engine house featuring a corrugated iron roof supported by two pairs of circular piers and squared end piers. The barn has a central double cart entrance with 20th-century doors and a blocked opening to the right filled with cob. Inside, four raised crucks remain intact, along with two tiers of trenched purlins. The angle struts have been removed, and the collars have been replaced.
