Description
Boode Farmhouse is a house built around 1830 to 1840. It is constructed of rendered rubble and brick, topped with a slate roof that features deeply overhanging eaves supported by shaped brackets. There are chimney stacks at each gable end. The house has a symmetrical double-depth central staircase plan and includes a 2-storey lean-to on the left gable end. The front has two storeys with a three-window range of sash windows, consisting of six panes over six panes, and two larger sashes with six panes over a single pane that has marginal glazing bars. The entrance features a 20th-century door with plain pilasters on either side, framing the central bay.
