Description
The K6 telephone kiosk is a standard design made of cast iron and painted red. It features long horizontal glazing in the door and sides, with crowns on the top panels that are applied rather than perforated. There are rectangular white display signs that read "TELEPHONE" beneath the shallow-curved roof. The interior has been modernised with updated equipment.
This kiosk is situated beside a wall along the main road through the village. It is in proximity to several listed buildings and has a strong visual connection with the Church of St. John the Baptist, which is Grade I, and the church gate piers, gates, and railings, which are Grade II, located approximately 25 meters to the north-west. The kiosk is also near The Angel Inn and No. 3 The Square, both of which are Grade II, situated about 190 meters to the south-east.
