Description

Nos 26 and 28 West Street are a pair of cottages located in a back alley in Witheridge, dating from the 18th century. The cottages are rough-plastered and whitewashed, featuring a thatched roof with a hipped end. They are arranged in an L-plan, with two single-room width cottages forming the layout at the corner of the alley. The exterior is two storeys high and has asymmetrical windows arranged in a 2:2 pattern, consisting of 2- and 3-light 19th-century casements. There are two door openings, each with plank doors. The interior has not been inspected.
