Description

Lower Hampton Cottage and Hampton Cottage is a house that has been divided into two cottages. It dates from around the 17th century and is constructed of plastered rubble. The building features a thatched half-hipped roof and has one storey with an attic. There is a three-window range, with two gabled dormers also covered in thatch. The windows have been replaced with modern casement designs. The cottages have modern porches, one with a thatched roof and the other with a tiled roof. Brick chimney stacks are located at the gable ends.
