Description

Brookvale is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, constructed of roughcast stone rubble. It features a thatched roof with gabled and half-hipped ends. The building is a two-storey long range with only three small windows at the front. To the left of the center, there is a staircase projection with a chamfered wood mullion window that has leaded panes. A plank door is located to the right of the center, accompanied by a modern thatched porch. The ridge and end chimney stacks have been rebuilt in brick. The interior has not been inspected but may date back to the 16th century.
