Description
The Gables is a cottage dating from around the 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension. It is constructed of stone rubble and features two parallel roofs covered with asbestos slate, both with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range, consisting of two and three-light casements with glazing bars. There is a plank door located to the centre left, and to the right, there is a later doorway and window, both with segmental brick arches. The cottage has brick ridge chimney stacks and is included for its group value.
