Description

Ways Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features an asbestos slate roof with gabled ends. The building has two storeys and a four-window range. There are three 3-light casements from the 18th or 19th century with leaded panes, along with three modern two-light casements that have glazing bars. To the left of the centre, there is a plank door, which is sheltered by a late 19th-century wooden Gothic gabled porch. The cottage has brick chimney stacks at both gable ends and a lean-to at the south end. It is included for its group value.
