Description

Solway Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on Woodhayne Lane, near Shute, Whitford. It is constructed of whitewashed stone rubble, with a thatched roof featuring gabled ends. The cottage is two storeys high and has a three-window front. It has modern casement windows with glazing bars. A plank door is situated in the east gable end, sheltered by a hood. The chimney stacks are rebuilt in brick.
