Burstalls is an 18th-century cottage located on High Street in Whitwell. It is constructed from Isle of Wight stone rubble, featuring brick dressings. The cottage has a thatched roof with a brick chimney stack and includes one eyebrow dormer. There are two casement windows, and the central entrance has a modern door with a brick hood moulding.
