Description

The Whitwell War Memorial is a First World War memorial built in 1924. It is made of Portland stone and features a 3.5 metre tall Celtic cross on a three-stage base. The sides of the base have inscriptions dedicated to the memory of Whitwell men who were killed in the First and Second World Wars.
