Description

The war memorial in Market Square, Lytham, is a cenotaph dedicated to the First World War, built around 1920 to 1925. It is made of white Portland stone and has a rectangular shape, standing approximately 5 meters high. The memorial features a plain base and a tall, slightly tapered pier topped with a superstructure, with names inscribed in columns. It is included for its group value.
