Description

The war memorial in Ratby, located on Main Street, was constructed around 1920 and is made of Portland stone. It features a tall square stone base that is raised on three steps, which displays memorial inscriptions and the names of those who lost their lives in both World Wars. At the top, there is a rocky platform that is surmounted by a sculpted female figure representing Winged Victory.
