Description
The Blackley War Memorial is a war memorial built in 1921. It features an ashlar base and pedestal, topped with a bronze statue. The memorial has a square base that is accessed by a flight of three steps on the south side. Above the base is a tall, slightly tapered square pedestal that supports a figure of Winged Victory standing on a globe and holding a wreath. The front of the pedestal has a raised lettered panel, and the sides include inset panels that list the names of the fallen.
