Description

The war memorial in Disley was built in 1920 to honor those who fell in the First World War, with later inscriptions added for the local casualties of the Second World War. It is made of sandstone and features a tall cusped cross set on a plinth that bears inscriptions. The memorial is prominently located in the center of Disley.
