Description

This is a telephone kiosk located against the western edge of Fountain Square in Disley. It is a Type K6 kiosk, designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and made by various contractors. The kiosk is constructed from cast iron and features a square shape with a domed roof. The top panels have unperforated crowns, and the windows and door are fitted with margin glazing.
