Description

Frognal Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone rubble and features a thatched roof with gabled and half-hipped ends. The flat gable end is weatherboarded. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a two or three window range. The windows are three-light casements with leaded panes. There are attic gabled dormers with pierced bargeboards. A modern door is located off centre and has a modern hood above it. The chimney at the ridge has been rebuilt in brick, and there is an end stack. Additionally, there is a modern lean-to at the east end.
