Description

South Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a thatched roof. The building is one storey high with an attic and consists of two bays. There is a door located in the left bay, which is a 19th-century four-panelled door set within a 20th-century outer porch. The cottage features four-light timber casement windows with timber lintels. There is a stack on the right gable. The thatch is hipped on the left side and sweeps over one flush dormer.
